Company and Industry Information Resource Guide: Value Line Research Center

The database has industry information in its company research reports.

• Click on "BROWSE RESEARCH" in the black banner near the top.
• Type a company name or ticker symbol in the search box at the upper right side of the screen.
• If more than one option is listed, click on the appropriate link.
• Scroll down the research report to find the Industry Analysis box.
• Click on the "Expand" link at the right of the Industry Analysis box's heading to access the complete text.

The database has analysis for about fifty industries that may be accessed via these steps:

• Click on "BROWSE RESEARCH" in the black banner near the top.
• Under the heading of "Value Line Featured Lists," you will see an "Industry Screens" box.  Drop down the menu in that box. 
• Click on the link(s) for the industry categories closest to what you are researching.  
• Look for the specific company that you are researching and click on the "Industry Analysis" link for it.  If you do not find your specific company, click on the "industry Analysis" link for another company in the list.

The database has company information in its research reports.

• Click on the database link on this page.
• Click on "BROWSE RESEARCH" in the black banner near the top.
• Type a company name or ticker symbol in the search box at the upper right side of the screen.
• If more than one option is listed, click on the appropriate link.
• The information on the company appears on the screen.
• Information may also be found by clicking on the "PDF Reports" link in the gray banner relatively close to the top of the screen.

The database provides a Screener tool that allows you to create such a list by:

• Clicking on "FIND IDEAS" in the black banner near the top.
• Clicking on '''Screener" in the purple banner right below the black banner.
• Setting your criteria.
