How to Find Book Reviews

To find book reviews when you are using the Cougar Search on our library homepage:

Enter a keyword search with the author's last name and the book's title. There may be reviews of different formats of the book, such as video or audio.

Limit to full text.

Filter by material type Reviews. You can also filter by publication to narrow even further.

Booklist, School Library Journal, Library Journal, Horn Book, Reading Teacher, Kirkus Reviews are examples of book review sources for children's literature.
