Volunteering in Columbia Public Schools
Columbia Public School volunteers are part of the school team which consists of a teacher(s), administrator(s) and the Building Volunteer Coordinator (BVC). (Building Volunteer Coordinators are volunteers who coordinate volunteer efforts at individual buildings.) As a part of this team, volunteers have the flexibility and freedom to design activities around specific interests, abilities, and skills.

FACT-Family and Community Trust
The FACT board assists 20 well-respected Community Partnerships across the state. Each partnership works within their community to identify and develop solutions to overcome challenges such as homelessness, drug abuse, teen pregnancy, child abuse, after school care, dental care and others.
