Computer Access Policy

Computer Access Policy Purpose

  • The purpose of this policy is to provide fair and equitable access to the library computers.

Who May Use the Library Computers

  • Columbia College students, faculty, staff and alumni. Alumni must have a courtesy card.

  • Computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Columbia College is a private college. Because of this, individuals and groups not affiliated with Columbia College must be approved by the Director or Assistant Director of Stafford Library to use the computers. These exceptions will only be considered Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Printing

  • Columbia College provides free black-and-white and color printing for Columbia College students, faculty, and staff. The library does not have wireless printing. All printing must be initiated through the library computers.

Audio

  • Patrons must use headphones if they use computer audio. Over-the-ear headphones are available for check out.

Wifi

  • Columbia College provides wifi across campus to current students, faculty, and staff. No public wifi is available on campus.
