Writing Assistance

The writing center provides free services to help Columbia College students in the mid-Missouri area develop and maintain writing skills needed for academic success. Writing consultants can help students with any of the following and more:

• Brainstorming and developing a thesis
• Organizing your paper
• Adding depth to your analysis
• Editing and revising
• Avoiding plagiarism by learning how to introduce quotations
• Meeting MLA, APA, and Chicago style guidelines
