Model:  (Describe how you will be modeling essential skills/information.)

 

 

 

Check for Understanding:  (Identify strategies to be used to determine if students have learned the objectives.  A rubric may be substituted for the Check for Understanding.

 

 

 

Guided Practice:  (List all activities which will be used to guide students’ practice and provide a time frame for completing the practice.)

 

Closure:  (How will you bring the day’s lesson to an end.  Are there provisions for review or evaluation?)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Independent Practice:  (List small group or center activities, homework/seatwork assignments to be sure that students have mastered the objectives without teacher guidance.)
