MOBIUS Transition

Starting April 18, MOBIUS will temporarily suspend requesting materials through the MOBIUS catalog. It will also not be possible to borrow materials at MU or other MOBIUS libraries beginning April 18.

MOBIUS requesting will be re-enabled on June 12 when the new MOBIUS catalog launches. Borrowing at MU and other MOBIUS libraries will resume some time later.

Common Questions

Can I still check out Columbia College books and other library materials? Yes, all Columbia College students, faculty, and staff will be able to check out materials from our collection. 

When is the deadline for requesting books through MOBIUS? Requesting in the MOBIUS catalog will be suspended on the morning of April 18, so get all your MOBIUS requests in by April 17.

Do I have to have all my books returned by a certain date? No, just by the due date. You may renew Columbia College materials as normal.
