Secondary marketing research data can be located via:

  • The print resources, online databases, and library guides available at corporate, academic, and public libraries.
  • The websites of federal, state, and local governments.
  • Local Chambers of Commerce.
  • Local economic development organizations.
  • Associations for people of a specific demographic group or with certain interests or hobbies.
  • Trade Associations.
  • Media outlets serving a specific market.  (Details about the market may be provided on their websites in the section with information for advertisers.)
  • Small Business Development Centers affiliated with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
